David Ferris
Founder and CEO
Mr. Ferris is the CEO of Ferris Development, a company he originally established to manage personal and commercial real estate holdings. Ferris Development Group is responsible for acquiring, renovating, and leasing multi-family properties, suburban office, lab, medical and industrial space. Altogether, these properties equate to nearly 1 million sq ft, which serves just shy of 100 public and private companies.
Mr. Ferris began his career with over 20+ years of experience as a wealth advisor. In 2012 Mr. Ferris formed Ferris Capital, LLC., a Registered Investment Advisory (RIA) firm which grew to manage approximately $1B for 160 families based out of Boston, New York, San Francisco, and London. In 2022 Ferris Capital was acquired by Creative Planning; one of the largest and most successful independent financial planning firms in the United States. Today, Creative Planning continues to serve Ferris Capital clients with cutting-edge investment, tax, trust and financial planning services.
Additionally, Mr. Ferris also has the pleasure of owning and working alongside Expedited Construction. Expedited is a full-service construction company with deep industry knowledge and over 15 years of experience working with ground-up construction and interior buildouts. Expedited is well versed in office, medical, lab and data center buildouts. Our front end team of professionals work hand in hand with our in-house HVAC, electricians, and plumbers which allows us to meet strict client deadlines at lower costs and more efficiently than our competitors.
Mr. Ferris earned a BA from Boston College and a J.D. from Loyola University of New Orleans School of Law where he is a member of the College of Law Visiting Committee as well as serving as a board member of the university. David is currently a member of the Massachusetts Bar Association. In his free time he enjoys spending time with his family, deep sea fishing and cruising on his Harley.
