Brian Charville

Chief Operating Officer & General Counsel

Brian joined Ferris Development in March 2015.  Brian counsels the Ferris team in property acquisitions and divestitures, leasing, land use matters, and procurement of goods and services.  He represents the firm and its affiliated entities in negotiations, transactions, and litigation and other forms of dispute resolution as the need arises.  His trial experience has involved a variety of subject areas (real estate, torts, estate administration, taxation, civil rights, and criminal defense, among others) in state and federal courts, and includes jury and bench trials.

Prior to joining Ferris Development, Brian worked as a civil litigator at a law firm in Boston, served as an assistant general counsel for Arlington County, Virginia, and was a partner in a general-practice law firm in Virginia.  He is admitted to practice law in Massachusetts and Virginia.

Brian holds a Juris Doctor degree from the Wake Forest University School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts degree from Duke University
